2008 MS Walk

Volunteers Dan, Rick, Doug, Dan & Rolf cooked up the pancakes.
Kiwanis has been helping out with the MS Walk at No Name rest area for a number of years. Coy Bretthorst got involved in this and has done the planning on this for years. This year he was out of town so he untrusted the planning in Rolf's hands. I can not remember all the people who helped in the breakfast but as always we had fun and fed a lot of people. We probably had 8-10 Kiwanians throughout the event helping in one way or another. Kiwanis does not accept any money for this event and we do it because we love to help and serve others. We get the Pancake batter donated from the Village Inn, as always, and MS takes care of the rest, plates, utensils and drinks. It is a wonder service project that we do. It helps MS by having "The Professional" Kiwanis pancake flippers doing something they do best so that MS Walk folks don't have to worry about it.
