Club Meetings

Our club meets every Tuesday at 6:30pm. During the winter (September-May) we meet at:

The Ramada Inn
124 West 6th Street
Glenwood Springs, Colorado 81601 970-945-2500

During the summer (June-October) the club meets at Veltus Park for an informal barbeque each Tuesday.

*Meetings are currently being held at the Veltus (Kiwanis) Park. Click here for directions to Veltus Park.

If you are interested in joining our club, please contact Mike McDill by calling 970-384-6413 or email mail@glenwoodkiwanis.org.

Generally, there is a guest speaker booked for each meeting. We've had speakers covering global information such as "The Invisible Children", national issues such as James Johnson of the National Renewable Energy Laboratory discussing wind generation technology, and Muhammad Ali Hasan spoke on “The War on Terrorism and Why Sanctions Don’t Work”. Local topics include the history of Glenwood Springs by author Angie Parkinson and Tom Barnes of the Glenwood Parks and Recreation Department.

All programs are presented during Tuesday evening meetings.
